Real Madrid signs Hamit Altintop

The Turkey midfielder, 28, has signed a four-year contract with the Liga runners-up after allowing his contract to run down at the German giants. Altintop - who is the fourth Geman-born player in the Madrid first-team squad alongside Mesut Ozil, Nuri Sahin and Sami Khedira - has 55 caps and six goals for Turkey, and scored 11 goals in 99 appearances in all competitions for Bayern.
